We've grown up living with a DIY mentality and taking advantage of customers through outrageous prices is not something we're fond of. Every pedal is build by hand including the screen printing of the enclosure.

  • Where is the store based?

  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

    YES! We have sent pedals to Russia, Australia, Israel, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Switzerland, Czech Republic, etc.

    We will ship anywhere that the US Postal Service will allow us to. International shipping for a single pedal normally runs around $25.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Current approximate turnaround time before shipment: 6-8 weeks
    Why?
    I run Abominable Electronics completely by myself. I drill and screen print each enclosure by hand. Then I populate the circuit boards by hand. I'll assemble the parts of the pedal into the enclosure and wiring them up by hand. Then I will test the pedal and package and ship them by hand as well! I normally have around 100-150 orders backlogged at any given time and I'm constantly trying to get stuff out sooner and sooner but it's going to take a little while longer before I get to that point. I appreciate your business and patience - I promise you it will be worth the wait.

  • How should I power this pedal? There is no battery clip!

    We try and avoid having to use larger enclosures than we need by omitting a battery clip.

    To power the pedal use ONLY 9v DC power. AC power and other voltages can destroy the pedal. Any warranty is void if an AC supply is used.

  • It says the pedal is in stock, why?

    Online we stores require an actual item to be in stock in order to add it to the cart. If we put everything out of stock we wouldn't have a means of selling you a pedal and we'd go out of business. Your purchase puts you in line for a made to order, hand screen printed, hand assembled / wired boutique guitar pedal.
